I have been in the recruitment industry now for over 23 years. Having worked for High Streets and consultancy practices in the United Kingdom, I now work independently as a trainer and recruiter. My passion is to promote recruitment as a professional career across the UK. I was the original chairman of the Institute of Recruiters and I am now act as an ambassador, promoting best practice and delivering the UK?s first dedicated Apprenticeships in Recruitment. I am proud to be an ambassador and member of the Women?s Engineering Society, recently being tasked with generating a Young Members group. I also have a regular slot on local BBC radio offering advice to job seekers. My training company Tiro Training helps recruitment companies develop a Recruitment, Induction, and Learning Development Strategy, with classroom, desktop and online training tools.
