Beth has worked at two National Laboratories, Los Alamos National Laboratory and Lawrence Livermore, in recruiting. Previous to her nine years with the Department of Engergy she recruited for a Bay Area high tech firm. Beth has a colorful background including a BS degree in Chemical Engineering.

She worked as a refinery engineer and as the EH&S manager at Raychem, now Tyco. Beth owned her own garment manufacturing company where she designed and sold clothing to the mass market for 13 years.
